Way off the beaten trail of mountain biking journalism

Mt. Shredward is the most fun destination for for mountain bikers who love not only the ass kickingest sport ever, but also don't take shit too seriously. Well, eventually it'll be a premiere destination. Right now Mt. Shreward is mainly for my own entertainment, but if you're entertained too, cool. It's a work in progress. We'll see where it goes. However, beyond my dicking around with the written word, I'm also a big supporter of local advocacy and goings on. I'd absolutely love Mt. Shredward to be a go to site for links to regional trail guides, clubs, organizations and anything that promotes mountain biking. Eventually, when people actually read the site, I'd dig it there were discussions and education going on, and all that type of stuff.

About my motivation: I published an article about the San Francisco urban mountain biking scene in Dirt Rag Magazine. I loved writing about my number one passion, mountain biking, so much, that I decided to keep doing it. Bottom line: I love biking. I can write. I'm a smart ass who thinks he's got stuff to say.
